My intention, based on the fact I have sooooo much in craft supplies, was to go on a ZERO SPENDING FREEZE FOR 2019. Eight days in, and I blew it.
Every couple weeks I go to a local thrift store, that sells items to benefit a nearby high school. My idea was to look for a glass cover for a dish that I love to bake in. I'd replaced a cover for another dish, and have been checking back to see about this cover. Two aisles away from those dishes was the craft department - and you know what happened. Yup, headed that way and found two 8 oz. skeins of Red Heart worsted weight yarn in military green. This size skeins hasn't been available for years and at $1.50 each I didn't even consider not buying them.
$3.17 spent. Will try harder next time.
